Hyndla raises first aluminium tower at Eltervåg

Check out how Hyndla's first aluminium transmission tower was installed at Eltervåg farm outside Sandnes, Norway.

At 850kg this 21 meter high tower it the lightest transmission tower on the market for the Norwegian regional grid (132 kV). The light weight made it possible to lift the tower using only a pair of hand cranked winches and it will significantly reduce the cost and environmental impact of new power lines.
