Our mission and story
Hyndla was founded in 2019 by Andreas Eltervåg, Klaus Kronborg, Per Magnus Muren, and Magnus Kjepso Halvorsen to address the high cost of Low Voltage Components and Mechanical Support Structures in offshore wind foundations. The goal was to become a leading supplier of carbon- and cost efficient solutions and we are currently the only engineering company specializing in electrical and mechanical interfacing for offshore wind foundations.
We operate with a holistic approach to engineering, procurement, and construction which allows us to reduce cost and carbon footprint by facilitating competition and designing the optimal solution independently from components manufactures. We always provide open source designs that can be manufactured anywhere in the world - promoting local content and knowledge sharing.
Our main office is in Flekkefjord, Norway but we are also located in Odense, Denmark and New York State, USA and we have employees spread across all of Norway and Denmark that work remotely.
